1. Overview: In this session you become familiar with the Power Point program. This program is helpful for brainstorming and organizing materials as well as for giving presentations.



2. Learning Outcomes
1. Become familiar with the toolbars and menus for the Power Point program.
2. Be able to use the automatic functions as well as templates for creating presentations.
3. Know how to create slides inserting text and graphics and how to use animated features.
4. Be able to work in outline and slide sorter or storyboard views when creating presentations.
5. Know how to save a presentation to the Web.

5. Summary/Review

Using the progam Power Point, you will find there are many similarities with menus and tools found in the WORD program. This program gives you a more concise, distilled version of a project. In Power Point you are able to organize the "Headlines" for stories you want to tell.

1. To view a Power Point presentation in order to see the graphics inserted on the slides, choose:
